Obituary
Taimaikio LaShun Hill was born October 29, 1974, to James Wesley Hill, Sr., and Mary Ann Battle Hill in Birmingham, Alabama.
She confessed in Christ at an early age and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church of Brighton, Alabama, under the leadership of Reverend Isaiah Robinson.
Taimaikio LaShun Hill, affectionately known as “Meka” passed away on August 18, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father James Wesley Hill, Sr.; grandmothers, Mary Lou Martin and Georgia Cranford; grandfather, Morrell Cranford; uncle, Pastor Billy Craig; and grandson, Carter Thomas.
Taimaikio leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted mother, Mary Ann Battle Hill; three brothers, Darrell Hill, Eric Hubbard, and James Wesley Hill, Jr; one sister, Alicia Clayton: one godson, Ryunn Holiness; two goddaughters, Runyell Holiness Jackson and Raya Bonner; nieces, Jalexis Morsby, Ja’Mya Hill, Jasmyne Hill, Jaeda Hill, Jameelah Heath, Ky’Lani Hill, Ja’Riyah Hughes, Latisha Roseberry, Raven Roseberry, Raionna Roseberry, Kira Dickinson, Shameka (De’Andre) Doss, Chandraya Doss, Sargent Marquetta (Kimberly) Dickinson, Vinetia Mclemore, Aquanita Anderson, Jaleah Robertson, Brittney Abbott; nephews, Anthony Hill, Darrell Hill, Jr., Jaylan Hill, Renard Clayton, Jr., Antonio Hill, Azekiel Hill, Vincent Dickinson, Armand Dickinson, Deandre Doss, Jr., Antoine Anderson, Destri Coleman, and Demetrius Coleman; two cousins she loved like daughters, Wykina and Kindra Dancy; three aunts, Dorothy House, Ann Franklin, and Prophet Patsy Craig; one uncle, Willie Lee Battle; godmother, Margaret West; two godsisters, Wonica West and Monica Jackson; one godbrother, Orlando West; her partner for 18 years, William Glaster (Block); stepdaughter, Chunteria Glaster; grandchildren, Jaiden Glaster and Charity Thomas; her pops, William Glaster, Sr.; special brother, Tenoa (Tonya) Walls; and a host of other relatives friends.
