Obituary
Josephine Gresham was born on May 7, 1944, in Walker County, Alabama, to the late Mr. JC and Willie Lee Love. She departed this life on September 8, 2025.
Sister Josephine Gresham was an active church member at Morningstar Christian Church until her health failed and she was unable to attend church services. She served faithfully on the Usher Board as well as in the Senior and Food Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Willie Lee Love; twin brother, Joseph Love; sister, Shirley Smoot; and only daughter, Regina Gresham.
She leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy; husband, James Gresham, Sr.; two amazing sons, James (Tammy) Gresham, Jr. of Birmingham, AL and Anthony (Marilyn) Gresham of Indianapolis, Indiana; four great brothers, AC (Janice) Love of South Carolina; JC (Dallas) Love, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Rodger (Marian) Love of Birmingham, AL and Ricky (Mavis) Love of Birmingham, AL; one fantastic sister, Margie Saxton of Joliet, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Jose Smoot of Birmingham, AL; and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and church friends.
