Obituary
Joan Crawford Jones, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered eternal rest on September 9, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on August 12, 1957, and throughout her life she touched the hearts of many with her kindness, generosity, fun, and laughter.
Joan was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Amos Jones; brothers Ray Brown and Jerry Brown; and nephew, Robert “Tee” Dickson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Kareem “Reemo” Jones; adored granddaughter, Kailyn Avant; mother, Minnie Brown; sister, Linda Dickson; brother, Johnny Brown; and nephews Ryan and Bryan Dickson. Joan also leaves behind nieces, Keet Brown and Tosha Brown, as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever remember her warmth, her laughter, and the joy she brought into every room.
Joan’s legacy is one of resilience, love, and lighthearted spirit. She carried her family through challenges with grace and celebrated their joys with unmatched pride. Her generosity, fun-loving nature, and infectious laughter will continue to echo in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

My girl, my sister I can remember when you first got to alabama from Cali. We instantly hit it off. And it's been sister love every since. We've been through a lot together.
