Jennette L. Caddell-Alexander
01-20-1954 - 08-12-2025
Obituary
Jennette L. Caddell-Alexander was born to the late Annie Taylor Caddell and John Caddell on January 20, 1954.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age, and throughout her youth and adulthood, sang in her church’s choirs.
Jennette was a 1972 graduate of J. S. Abrams High School. She attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Tuskegee Institute, through which some of her proudest training was facilitated at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jennette became a Registered Nurse and served a plethora of patients throughout her career, which spanned over four decades in various healthcare settings. With her caring and nurturing spirit, she dedicated years of professional and compassionate service during her employment at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Cooper Green Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee public school system.
Jennette enjoyed being with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, reading, dancing, experiencing various outings, and she ALWAYS enjoyed a good laugh.
Jennette leaves to cherish her memories: her forever loving, protective, and faithful daughter, Jondra; supportive siblings, Arcella Caddell, Wayne (Louvenia) Caddell, Benjamin (Regina) Caddell, and Adriene (Patrick) Evans; devoted nephew, Patrick Evans II; sister by love, Monica Shields; many nieces and nephews; uncle and aunt, Richard and Ronier Taylor; caring sister-cousins, Alice Jackson, Jackie Marshall, Gloria Scales, Hattie Williams, Barbara Mason, Gwendolyn Elliott, and Brenda Woods; cousin-brother, Charles Elliott; and her Alexander family. Jennette was blessed with loving and encouraging decades-long sister-friends, Sandra Jones, Loretta Perry, Christine Hunter, Teresa Johnson, and the late Mary Madison. She also leaves many other family, friends, and former colleagues to cherish her unforgettable memory.
