Obituary
Arthur N. Jackson, Jr., age 50, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on May 10, 1975, Arthur lived a life marked by strength, determination, and love. He gave a good fight to live, showing courage and perseverance through every challenge he faced.
Arthur was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was known for his humor, joyful spirit, and love of life. He enjoyed making people laugh, spending time with family and friends, riding his bike, and listening to his radio. His warm personality and fun-loving nature left a lasting mark on everyone whom he knew
He is survived by his children, son, La’Neil Jackson, and daughters, Katorria Moore and Armani Jackson; granddaughter, Ariyunna Moore; father, Arthur Jackson; sisters, Tywanda Sims of Birmingham, Alabama, and Slywanda Jackson (Jermaine); special friend, Heather Pickett; “brother from another mother,” Louis Owens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda H. Randell; sister, Tammy Sims; and son, Christian Jackson.
