Obituary
Kenneth Alton Haywood was born on August 4, 1964, to the late Moses Haywood, Jr., and Mary (Clark) Haywood.
He finished high school at Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, New Jersey, and he furthered his education at Chowan College, where he was accepted to play football. He also served in the Army. He was employed for twelve years with BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.
He leaves behind: his wife, to whom he was a devoted and loving husband, Rosa (Jenkins) Haywood; three sons, Glen Jenkins of Birmingham, AL, Matthew (Jackie) Studer of Ridgewood, NJ, and Kenneth Haywood, Jr., of Tom River, NJ; four daughters, Roshundra (KeiAndre) Scott of Hueytown, AL, Patrice Studer of Patterson, NJ, Jourdan Studer of Saddlebrook, NJ, and Danasia Haywood of Brick, NJ; loving grandkids; one sister, Helen (Fred) Harham of Winterville, NC; two brothers, Williams Haywood of East Orange, NJ, and Calvin (Michelle) Haywood of High Point, NC; ten grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
