James your passing is such a shock to me. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to see James when he visited
Las Vegas, NV on 9/17/2024, with friends Clara & Obie. I never imagined that would be the last time I saw him.
James, Clara and I graduated the same year, 1961 from Wenonah High School. We also attended Old St Paul Church.
We both moved from Alabama after graduating from High School. We lost contact for several years but was always able to reconnect by phone or when I visited California.
James was a caring, thoughtful person and he was really good with contacting old friends. He would call & let me know when his family members or classmates passed away. I will miss receiving phone calls & getting updates on friends.
RIP, dear friend, you are "Free At Last" and in Heaven with God and your loved ones. I will always remember you, James.
