n Loving Memory of Belinda Gale Parnell Belinda Parnell was born to Leethia Mae Parnell and Johnie Powell October 21st 1955. Belinda departed this life on October 16 2024 at the age of 68. Belinda gave her life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Hobdy Moorer and later became a member of Greater Temple Missionary Baptist church Belinda was preceded in death by both her parents brother James Parnell and 2 sisters Bessie McCants and Jacqueline Jackie Walker. Belinda received her education in the Birmingham School system Brunetta C. Hill and A. H. Parker high school class of 1974. She furthered her education by attending Lawson State College and studied nursing. Belinda was a beloved mother sister aunt and grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth kindness and unwavering love. Belinda was known as the life of the party she was a true joy to all who knew her she could turn any sadness into joy with her comedic humor she loved to laugh and make those around her laugh. Her humorous sense of humor will always be remembered. Belinda is survived by her two daughters De Undra Parnell Little Ta Darrius and Sheunna Thomas Michael who carry forward her legacy of love and devotion. She was also the proud grandmother of 6 Grandchildren Myiana Amari Cameron Christian Ta Darrius 2 and Teagan 4 great grandchildren Harlan Silas Akai and Ethan whose lives she brightened with her endless affection and joy. Additionally she is survived by her loving sibling Mr. Lonnie Parnell who treasured her presence and gave her the name Miafa her God sister Kim Jackson who she loved dearly also she leaves behind a bonus son Mr. Rico Jackson and a devoted son in law Mr. Ta Darrius Little who rearranged his life to help make her last few months comfortable with his unwavering love care gentleness and patience. A special granddaughter caregiver Myiana D. Thomas who made sure her grandmother had what she needed. And a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. 2 sisters in love Josalyn Lewis and Cassandra Bush Edward . Belinda s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her generous spirit her devotion to her family and her strength through life s challenges. Her life was a testament to love perseverance and compassion and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
