Obituary
Allen Jones Jr. was the fourth child born to the union of Allen Jones Sr. and Hazel Copeland Jones on August 18 1952. He was a loving father devoted son dependable brother grandfather and friend. His life s journey was marked by profound love and unwavering dedication to his family. Allen confessed Christ at an early age and leaned on His love and guidance throughout his life. He served God faithfully at New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Hueytown where he was involved in several ministries. He was a member of the usher board and the outreach ministry. He grew up in Birmingham Alabama and graduated from Westfield High School in 1970. Allen graduated from Bessemer Technical College with an associate degree in offset printing. However he began his career as a factory worker over 40 years ago and retired in 2016. On January 7 1983 he welcomed his beautiful daughter Rotasha Hornbuckle into the world. He enjoyed spending time with her and his granddaughter Tytiana Harper. His family has fond memories of him being the camera man at every family event. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. His legacy of love will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Allen Jr. s legacy lives on through his child Rotasha and grandchild Tytiana. He was preceded in death by his father Allen Jones Sr. brother Ron Jones three sisters Bernadine Jones Ovella Ngwenya and Rocheryl DuBose . His memories will be cherished by his loving daughter Rotasha Hornbuckle granddaughter Tytiana Harper sister Angela Llewellyn Gray brother Clint Teresa Jones mother Hazel Jones and a hosts of nephews nieces and other family and friends.
